Writing Proficiency Tutorial Program

Service Description

Writing Proficiency Tutorial Program (WPT) is a needs-based, personalized one-on-one program designed for children (aged 4-12), teenagers (13-19), and adults (20 and above) who need help with sharpening their technical and/or creative writing skills. Most of our students come from private, homeschools, and international schools in Metro Manila, as well as from other countries such as Canada, United States, and India. Topics of Focus: (A) rudiments of writing, (B) creative writing, (C) both/integrated Creative writing lessons include but are not limited to: - Creative essay writing - Storybook writing - Fiction writing - Poetry writing - Creative nonfiction writing - Introduction to playwriting Lessons on rudiments of writing include but are not limited to: - Grammar lessons - Paragraph writing - Essay writing - Blog writing - News article writing - Editing lessons Set-Up: This is done in a 1:1 coaching fashion which frequency and regularity depend on the preference of the writing student and the availability of the writing teacher. The program’s content and flow depend on the student’s writing assessment results and progress.
